Available Services
We have resumed custom work, though only two very specific services are available.
The first service is to make a custom housing for an existing nib and feed. The price for this service is $75 plus cost of the housings. Possible housings are non-converter versions of JoWo #6, Bock 250, Bock 380, Bock 60, Pelikan M400/M800/M1000 and PenBBS. Price of the housings varies from $13.00 – $18.00.
We can reverse engineer certain type of collars and housings and provide new ones. Contact us for pricing. We have reproduced Montblanc and Wahl housings, among others. If we have an existing design available, the price will be lower.
The second service is to put a vintage nib made before 1940 into a variety of converter and non-converter housings, including JoWo #6, Bock 250, Bock 380, Bock 60, PenBBS, Conklin, Bexley, Pelikan M400/M800/M1000, TSWBI 580, and TWSBI 700R. The price of this service includes the design of a custom feed to fit the nib. This service is only available for nibs that can fit on a flat (straight) feed with no tip curvature. Most nibs made before 1940 fit this criteria as well as some made afterward. Most modern nibs do not fit this criteria. The price for this service is $150 plus the cost of the parts, which range from $32 to $40, depending on size.
Certain nibs, such as the Waterman’s 100 Year nib, can be fitted quite easily and can be done for a lower price for JoWo #6 and Bock 250. Inquire for pricing.
We are now able to offer custom feeds and housings for Wahl Adjustable nibs. Contact us for details. Prices will be lower for the #3 nib, as we have an existing design for it already.

Lead Time
Lead times vary from one to three months and depend on available machine time. We typically make the customs while making similar parts for our website, to reduce machine setup time.
