Flexible Nib Factory manufactures fountain pen nibs for existing fountain pens or full custom nib designs for independent pen turners. Our specialty is flexible fountain pen nibs for calligraphers and artists. These nibs are made from 14k gold alloys specifically designed for flexible fountain pen nibs. Yellow, white, and rose gold versions will be available. Feeds for the flexible nibs are turned and milled from Nikko ebonite and other materials such as clear cast acrylic.
We have continued to develop the Zebra G dip nib product line, which now consists of seven versions, Z6E (Zebra G in JoWo #6), ZB6E (Zebra G in Bock 250), ZP6EX (Zebra G in non-converter PenBBS), Z6EX (Zebra G in non-converter JoWo #6), ZBEX6E (Zebra G in Bexley Housing), ZC6E (Zebra G in Conklin Housing), ZT5E (Zebra G in TSWBI 580), and ZMM6EX (Zebra G in Moonman #6).
We also manufacture a line of standard ebonite and clear acrylic feeds to replace thermoplastic feeds. These feeds include Pelikan, JoWo, Bock, Montblanc, Pilot, and Visconti.
We make a wide variety of housings that allow fitting excellent nibs from JoWo, Pilot, Sailor, Platinum, Pelikan, PenBBS, and Montblanc into pens not designed for these nibs.
Due to requests from custom pen makers, we have introduced a new product line of non-standard housings, which allow the use of Pilot, Platinum, or Sailor converters with JoWo and Bock housings.
Our first tool is now available, the Flexible Nib Factory Guitar Pick. We will introduce several tools for working with our products in 2026.
Our S6E-XF and SB6E-XF are sold out permanently, as there are no more of these flexible nibs available. The best alternative is the Fountain Pen Revolution Ultra Flex Nibs, which feature the same feeds and housings manufactured by Flexible Nib Factory.
Our online shop is open for business. We ship in the USA by USPS and FedEx and internationally by DHL Worldwide Express service and USPS Priority Mail International.
JoWo, Bock, Pilot, Platinum, Zebra G, PenBBS, TWSBI, Montblanc, Visconti, etc., are trademarks of their respective companies.
