{"id":797,"date":"2018-10-28T16:34:38","date_gmt":"2018-10-28T21:34:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/flexiblenib.com\/store\/?post_type=product&#038;p=797"},"modified":"2026-06-07T19:47:43","modified_gmt":"2026-06-08T00:47:43","slug":"b6s21ke-bock-250-housing-for-sailor-21k-nib-and-feed","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/flexiblenib.com\/store\/product\/b6s21ke-bock-250-housing-for-sailor-21k-nib-and-feed\/","title":{"rendered":"B6S21KE Bock 250 Housing for Sailor 21k"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The B6S21KE housing allows use of Sailor 21k fountain pen nibs in pens that use a non-converter Bock 250 housing such as Conid that use Bock #6 nib assemblies.<\/p>\n<p>Manufactured in the USA by Flexible Nib Factory LLC from black ebonite from Nikko (Japan).<\/p>\n<p>Sailor 21k nib and feed not included.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Installation Instructions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Remove the feed and nib from your Sailor pen (example: Sailor Professional Gear):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Empty your pen of ink in your usual way and rinse out the residue.<\/li>\n<li>Before removing the nib and feed, note the position of the nib in the section. You will want to have the nib and feed fit similarly in the B6S21KE housing.<\/li>\n<li>Grasp the nib and feed, at the base only, keeping your fingers off the tines and tip of the nib, and pull them straight out of the pen. Do not twist, as the Sailor pen&#8217;s section is keyed. If the nib and feed can\u2019t be easily removed, soak the nib and feed in a dilute household ammonia solution for a few hours, and this should allow you to remove the nib and feed from the housing. As a last resort, the nib and feed can be removed using a nib block and punch, but this method should not be necessary unless the pen has been allowed to dry with ink inside. If you do use a nib block and punch, be very gentle, as the end of the feed is quite small, and excessive force can damage the end of the feed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To install the Sailor nib and feed into the B6S21KE housing:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Place the Sailor nib on the feed. Note that the feed has an inlay, and the nib sits inside this inlay. Position the nib so it fits securely and snugly on top of the feed.<\/li>\n<li>Without twisting, and keeping your fingers only on the base of the nib and feed, insert the nib and feed fully into the housing. Unlike the Sailor pen, the housing is not keyed. The markings on the nib should be aligned as they were when the nib and feed were installed into your Sailor pen\u2019s section.<\/li>\n<li>Screw this assembly into your pen. Do not over tighten.
