The VD6E-F Visconti Dreamtouch replacement feed is designed to improve the performance of your Visconti Dreamtouch nib by increasing available ink flow and providing better regulation of the ink. It is used in place of the thermoplastic feed in Visconti pens that use this style of nib, such as the Homo Sapiens pen.<\/p>\n

Installation Instructions<\/strong><\/p>\n

You will need to remove the stock nib assembly from your pen. It is best to use a specific tool for this purpose. Follow your pen makers recommendations for the removal of the nib assembly. This feed uses the standard thermoplastic housing. Remove the nib and feed from the nib assembly using a nib block, 1\/16″ punch or plug gage, and watchmaker’s hammer.<\/p>\n

Note that the thermoplastic feed is very delicate and easy to damage. If the nib was left to dry with the pen inked, then it is imperative to soak the nib assembly in soapy water for 4 to 8 hours before attempting to disassemble it. If you still have difficulty, use a teaspoon of household ammonia instead of soap.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
